The Springboks have met England 45 times over the course of history, having won 27 times to England's 16, with two draws making up the difference. 🔍 England v South Africa Winner Prediction
England came through a tough match with Fiji, with a final result of 30-24 - reflective of two years of struggle in the build up to this Rugby World Cup. The English have also not played any of the big five teams in the competition so far, so there are big questions as to how they will perform against real competition. South Africa, on the other hand, managed to squeeze past much more difficult competition in their game against France, the hosts. Despite the controversy surrounding refereeing decisions in the match, the final score board read 28-29 and left the Springboks on to win back-to-back competitions.
The world rankings also favour South Africa's side, as the great oracle has them in first versus England's place in fifth. Will this be the final indicator of doom for the Europeans?
The bookies have the Springboks to win, and sadly, so do I. I would like to think that England will at least make things close, but I see this being a 22-point game.
✔️ England v South Africa Betting Tips
1️⃣ Match Winner: South Africa to Win
The Springboks are the bookies' favourites, and I think rightly so. The odds aren't the most exciting, but as it's RWC semi-final week, I think I would have a go on South Africa to win at 1.21 at Dachbet.
2️⃣ Handicap Winner: South Africa to Win (-15.5)
I just can't get past seeing this one being a dishing-out of pain from the Springboks, and I think 22 points will be the ultimate difference. As such, I would be tempted to stretch to the maximum handicap margin offered by my favourite bookies and have a bet on South Africa to win (-15.5) at 2.12 at TonyBet Sports.
