The first of the 2024 All-Ireland Football semi-finals takes place on Saturday, July 13th, as All-Ireland favourites Kerry take on Armagh, who are contesting their first All-Ireland Semi-Final since 2005. The match will be thrown in at 17:30 GMT and will be broadcast live on RTE, BBC and GAAGO. Kerry have reached the last four unbeaten in this year’s Championship while Armagh have only lost once, a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Donegal in the Ulster Final. This should be an intriguing battle between two sides who should fancy their chances of making it through to the All-Ireland Final on July 28th.

🏆 Armagh vs Kerry Prediction

Armagh v Kerry is an interesting prospect as an All-Ireland semifinal. Kerry are now viewed as favourites to lift the Sam Maguire with Dublin eliminated and deservedly so, as they possess the form and big game experience to justify these lofty expectations. Armagh, for their part, have had something of a breakthrough in 2024. Though they did not bring home the Anglo-Celt Cup after a second successive penalty shootout loss in an Ulster Final, they have finally made it through to an All-Ireland semi-final for the first time under Kieran McGeeney. They defeated Roscommon to make it through to the last four but know they will have to up their performance level considerably to try and defeat a Kerry side who showed their ability to win ugly against Derry in their quarter final.

Armagh’s form and consistency throughout 2024 shows that they cannot be underestimated going into an All-Ireland semi-final, but it is just difficult to see past the Kingdom. They hold far more experience at this level of the Championship than their Orchard County rivals and have a forward line of extreme quality that could ignite at any moment during the semi-final. For these reasons, I expect Kerry to be victorious after what should be a hard-fought and close battle at GAA Headquarters.

💯 Armagh vs Kerry Betting Odds

It should come as no surprise that Kerry have been made favourites for this match. This can be seen on the best Irish betting sites.

They are now clear favourites to win the All-Ireland with Dublin out and have reached the All-Ireland Final for the last two years, winning in 2022 before losing last year’s decider against the Dubs. Armagh are well worth their place in the last four however, and fans should expect a physical and hard-fought battle between these two counties. Kerry are best priced at 1.45 to leave Croke Park with a victory, while Armagh are priced between 3.00 and 3.50 to cause a surprise and knock Kerry out of this year’s Championship at the penultimate stage.

✔️ Armagh vs Kerry Betting Tips

The Armagh vs Kerry betting markets are intriguingly priced up so you should have plenty of options, whether you are using real money stakes or taking advantage of some available free bets. To help you find the best value available, I have listed some betting tips below.

Tip 1: Kerry to Win

It should be a closely fought contest at Croke Park on July 13th but Kerry are deserved favourites for the match and should emerge victorious. They have eased through their opposition this year, and even the last day out against Derry, they won comfortably in the end, despite being nowhere near their best. That performance against Derry should have them fully prepared to face Armagh, as they know they will have to up their intensity throughout the seventy minutes to get over Kieran McGeeney’s men. The best odds for a Kerry win can be found on LeoVegas with odds of 1.45, and if you have any free bets, this bet could be the way to go.

Tip 2: David Clifford to Be Named Player of the Match

The Kerry man can be consistently relied upon to lead his team to victory in big games at Croke Park, and this All-Ireland semi-final against Armagh could be no different. Cutting the supply lines to the 25-year-old appears to be the only way to stop Clifford from terrorising any defence these days, but with the addition of Tony Brosnan as a creative half-forward this year in tandem with Paudie Clifford, Armagh’s task could just be one step too far. David Clifford to be Player of the Match can be found on BoyleSports at odds of 3.50.

Tip 3: Kerry to Win (Draw No Bet)

This is an interesting bet in what should be a close game, as it covers you. If you are not totally convinced by Kerry winning outright, the draw no bet stake has a couple of advantages. Kerry are the favourites and should win, but Armagh are a very capable side, so if Kerry win the game, you will win on your bet, but if it is a draw, you will at least get your initial stake returned to you. The Draw No Bet – Kerry bet is best priced at around 1.36 with Unibet.
