It would be foolish to completely rule out Lewis Hamilton or Charles Leclerc at this year’s Hungarian Grand Prix given the layout of the track and the advantages that the Ferrari may have on such a track. We just fancy championship leader Kimi Antonelli to stretch his lead at the top and claim his 7th victory from the first 11 races of this year’s F1 season.
Antonelli has won four times so far from pole position, and if he claims another pole in Budapest, it will make life very difficult for his rivals in trying to overtake him on a track that is notoriously difficult for passing.
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are expected to be the main rivals to the Mercedes pair of Antonelli and George Russell even though Leclerc has never actually achieved a podium finish at the Hungaroring. Hamilton has no such trouble in that department, however, with the seven-time world champion claiming the chequered flag a record eight times at the Hungarian Grand Prix in the past.

A second practice session then takes place from 16:00 to 17:00 on Friday, July 24th, with a third session on Saturday, July 25th, from 11:30 until 12:30 GMT.
