Munster Football Betting Odds, Sites, Tips & Predictions 2026

The 2026 Munster Senior Football Championship will run between April 12th and May 10th. Munster football championship betting is already well underway, with defending champions Kerry are the overwhelming favourites to retain their crown.
Below, we’ll analyse the very latest Munster football championship odds, while also offering some expert tips and insights. We’ll even reveal our pick of the best sites for betting on the GAA and your preferred Munster Championship markets.
💯Munster Football Championship Winner – Outright (2026)
The early Munster club football championship odds have established Kerry as the 1.06 favorites to prevail. These odds imply a 94.3% win probability, which reflects the team’s historical dominance and recent march towards a second successive Allianz Division 1 final.
Cork are the second favourites at odds of 8.00, suggesting that they have a 12.5% chance of winning the Munster Championship. Last season’s beaten finalists Clare are priced at a distant 35.00, with the Banner currently struggling in the Allianz National League Division 3.
These odds imply just a 2.9% probability of success for Peter Keane’s side, who lost by 11 points in last season’s showpiece Munster final. Below, you’ll find a summary of the latest odds from the best sportsbooks in Ireland.

✅ Munster Football Betting Tips
Although backing Kerry to win the 2026 Munster Championship delivers only nominal returns, it also unlocks a high implied probability value. However, there are other Munster football markets that you can explore, based on your experience and appetite for risk. So, we’ve prepared a range of Munster football betting tips to help inform your selections.
Tip 1 – Back Kerry to Win With an Increased Unit Bet
If you're a risk averse bettor in search of incremental returns, backing Kerry to win the Munster Championship is a solid pick. The Green and Gold have now won five successive Munster titles, and 12 of the 13 contested since 2012.
They’ve also dominated the Allianz National League Division 1 in recent times, winning the title despite not performing at their best in 2025. As we’ve touched on, the team has also reached the divisional final in 2026, losing just one of their seven matches throughout the campaign.
Kerry are the only current Allianz Division 1 side that will compete in the Munster Championship too, so consider backing them to win with an increased unit bet. You should also note that BoyleSports are offering enhanced odds of 1.10 on Kerry winning the Munster title.
Tip 2 – Back Cork to Reach the Final
Cork are likely to be Kerry’s closest rivals, with the Rebel County having enjoyed a successful National League campaign that saw them win promotion to Division 1.
The team has won six of their seven league matches in 2026, with left corner-forward Steven Sherlock contributing 27 points to the cause.
The Munster draw has also favoured Cork, as they'll face either Tipperary or Waterford in the last four if they see off Limerick in the quarterfinals. All of these opponents will ply their trade in the bottom tier of the National League next season, after a campaign that saw Limerick relegated.
This affords them a relatively straightforward path to the final, and you can back them to reach the showpiece match at odds of 1.08 with BoyleSports. This price implies a 92.6% win probability can be backed with an increased unit bet.
Tip 3 – Pick Kerry to Win the All-Ireland Title
Kerry completed a clean sweep last season, adding the All-Ireland title to their Munster and Division 1 crowns. They’re also the early favourites to triumph again this year, ahead of their fellow Division 1 finalists Donegal.
Their 39th All-Ireland title was achieved following a dominant and tactically astute performance against the Forgotten County, which was orchestrated by the imperious Paudie Clifford. The side’s firepower is hard to resist too, with the forward pair of David Clifford and Sean O’Shea contributing 3-62 between them in the National League alone this season.
Currently, you can back Kerry to win the All-Ireland title at odds of 2.37 with Lunubet. This implies a 42.2% win probability, which is quite competitive given the number of potential victors.
Tip 4 – Bet on David Clifford to Win the All-Ireland Player of the Year
Now 27 years old, Kerry’s David Clifford is widely regarded as the greatest Gaelic footballer of his generation. He has won the All-Ireland Player of the Year a record three times, with each of these awards coming in the previous four years.
He’s the deserved favourite to extend this record in 2026, having showcased superb form during Kerry’s National League run. He shot 3-31 in Kerry’s seven matches, taking his total National League record to 22–227 in just 50 appearances.
Since 2018, the corner forward has gone 45–445 in 97 games across all competitions, while he shot 0–9 (with three two-point scores) in the 2025 All-Ireland final.
His consistency and composure in front of goal are unmatched, especially in clutch moments and big games. So, there’s value in backing him to win the 2026 All-Ireland Player of the Year, particularly at odds of 3.00 with BoyleSports.
Tip 5 – Build a Provincial Football Acca That Backs Kerry, Donegal, Mayo and Meath to Win
If you’re in the market for higher risk GAA or Munster betting markets, BoyleSports are offering a variety of provincial football acca picks. This enables you to back all four provincial champions in a single wager, unlocking enhanced odds in the process.
Our recommended accumulator includes Munster giants Kerry and their fellow Division 1 finalists Donegal, who are priced at 2.75 to win the Ulster Championship. Don’t forget, the Forgotten County also reached last season’s All-Ireland final and have lost just one of their seven National League games this season.
It may be Meath’s time to win the Leinster Championship, despite their loss to Louth in the 2025 final. In the last four, the Royal county ended Dublin’s dominance and 15-year unbeaten run in the province. They'll also swap places with the Dubs in the Allianz Division 1 after securing promotion this season.
Mayo is our pick to win the Connacht Championship ahead of Galway, and they complete a four-fold acca that’s priced at 19.00. This unlocks the potential for a sizable return and an implied probability value of 5.3%.

📈 Munster Football Championship Betting Markets
No Munster betting guide of this type would be complete without analysis of the most popular lines and markets. Understanding these markets is key when betting on Munster GAA football, especially as you look to identify the best value lines in real-time.
Outright Betting
Outright betting enables you to bet on the winner of the Munster Championship. Although outright betting usually unlocks competitive odds at the beginning of a season, the Munster Championship bucks this trend due to Kerry’s longstanding dominance. Our recommended Munster betting sites also allow you to pick other provincial championship winners and the team that will prevail in the All-Ireland Championship.
Handicap Betting
Handicap betting allows you to back a heavy favourite at enhanced odds, by applying a virtual handicap that they'll have to overcome. For example, if Kerry are priced at 1.62 to defeat Cork on the road, applying a -1.5 point handicap may lengthen the odds to 1.73. However, they'll need to win by two clear points for the wager to pay out. Handicap betting can be particularly beneficial in the Munster province, where Kerry have a huge advantage over their rival teams.
Total Points Over/Under
In this market, you'll bet on the total number of points that will be scored during a game. Sportsbooks will set one or more consensus lines based on their analysis, and you’ll need to pick one before betting over or under this threshold. For example, if the consensus points line is set at 34.5 points in a Kerry vs Cork match and a total of 36 points are scored, betting over would deliver a return. You can inform such picks by analysing scoring data and historical head-to-head records.
To Reach the Final
Sites like BoyleSports also let you bet on one or more teams to reach the Munster final. This is another outright market that’s settled shortly before the end of the provincial championship, while it unlocks incredibly short odds when backing Kerry or Cork. Both teams are widely tipped to reach the 2026 final, with the Rebel County having benefited from a favourable draw. Be sure to check the draw and schedule in full before betting on this market.
Winning Margin Betting
Most of our recommended Munster betting sites let you wager on the final winning margin in individual matches too. Betting lines will usually cover tight margin spreads (such as between one and three points) and tend to unlock quite competitive odds. This is because you’ll have to predict the final result to a high degree of accuracy for your wager to pay out. This market is therefore ideal for fans or experienced bettors who adopt an analytical approach to predicting outcomes.

📌 Munster Football Championship Format
The Munster Football Championship has always been a knockout competition, whereby once a team is beaten, they are eliminated from that year’s Championship. The four counties that failed to make the previous year’s Munster Final are drawn in the quarter-final stage, with the pairings made at random.
The winners of these two quarterfinal ties will meet in the last four, while last season’s finalists (Kerry and Claire) do battle in the other semi-final. The two remaining sides will compete for the Munster Championship, while also qualifying for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Group Stage.
🏁 History - Munster GAA Football Senior Championship
The Munster Senior Football Championship is an annual inter county competition contested by the six counties of Munster, Kerry, Cork, Tipperary, Clare, Limerick and Waterford. It is organised by the Munster Council, part of the wider GAA organisation and played as part of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship each year.
It has been contested every year since the GAA’s inception in 1888 (except for 1921, when the Championship was cancelled due to the Civil War). The first 15 years of the Championship were by far the most competitive in the competition’s history as 5 out of the 6 counties all claimed provincial honours.
Kerry’s dominance began in 1903 with the first of three successive titles, and they've now won the Munster Championship a staggering 86 times. Since 1936, Kerry and Cork have won all but one provincial championship contested in Munster, with Tipperary also triumphing in 2020.
🏆 Munster GAA Senior Football Roll of Honour
As part of our Munster football championship preview, we’re also going to look back at the competition’s previous winners. Kerry’s triumph in 2025 was their 86th overall, while they've also won 12 of the 13 championships contested since 2012. Cork are the second most successful side with 37 titles, although they haven’t lifted the provincial crown for 13 years.
