Mayo vs Kerry Predictions - TG4, 4.00pm Sunday 30 March, Croke Park

Mayo and Kerry will contest the Football League Division 1 final this weekend, just four weeks after the two sides did battle at MacHale Park on March 1st. The Green above the Red prevailed by just two points in an enthralling encounter, as Mayo benefitted from an aggressive start and their trademark high pressing. However, Kerry enjoyed a spell of dominance in the second half, with David Clifford (0-6) helping to keep his team in contention. The 26-year-old also fired several wides, which may have helped Kerry secure a pivotal win on the road. There’s little between the two teams, who were ultimately separated by just a single point after seven Division 1 matches.

However, Mayo’s victory on March 1st was the first of three successive wins as they closed their season out in style, with Ryan O’Donoghue contributing 24 points during these games. Overall, he was the division’s second-highest scorer with a David Clifford (3-19) notched 28 points for free-scoring Kerry, who struck 16 goals and amassed 171 points during their Division 1 campaign. Four players recorded double-digit point tallies in 2025, with Dylan and Conor Geaney contributing three goals and 27 points between them. In addition to their firepower and big-game experience, Kerry have won four of their previous six league matches against Mayo since 2018. The average winning margin across these six games is just 2.5 points too, so there’s value in backing Kerry to prevail by between one and three points with BoyleSports at a price of 4.75..

🏆 OUR VERDICT: KERRY TO WIN - BETWEEN 1 AND 3 POINTS 🏆

Monaghan vs Roscommon Predictions - TG4 Sports, 7.15pm Saturday 29 March, Croke Park

Monaghan and Roscommon will return to the top-flight for the 2026 season, having immediately bounced back from last year’s relegation by reaching the Division 2 final. Monaghan did so in style, scoring 13 goals and 193 points at an average of 27.57 points-per-game. Four Monaghan players scored 20 points or more during the league campaign, including top- scorer Rory Beggan. The Oriel County goalkeeper has regularly roved forward this season and scored 27 points in total, including several two-point frees and long-range strikes.

Just one Roscommon player contributed more than 20 points in Division 2, with Diarmuid Murtagh (0-35) becoming the country’s highest scorer ever on February 16th. However, he broke the previous record during an impressive five-point win over Monaghan at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park, contributing 0-12 in a sensational display of striking.

Roscommon have now won three of their last four league matches against Monaghan, including a 12-point thrashing in Division 1 barely 13 months ago. Murtagh and Edna Smith starred in this victory, with the latter also contributing 2-7 and 13 points so far this season. Overall, we are tipping Roscommon to continue their good recent form against the Oriel Country, as their experienced forward line gets the better of Monaghan’s occasionally porous defence. You can get on a Roscommon win at a price of 2.00 with BoyleSports.

🏆 OUR VERDICT: ROSCOMMON TO WIN 🏆

Kildare vs Offaly Predictions - TG4, 1.45pm Sunday 30 March, Croke Park

Kildare, Offaly and Clare finished in a three-way tie at the top of Division 3, with the former two sides ultimately securing promotion by virtue of their superior points differences. The two will also battle in the Division 3 final at Croke Park this weekend, with Offaly looking to rebound from their five-point defeat to Clare last time out. Kildare booked their final spot with a comfortable 11-point win over relegated Antrim, as forward Alex Beirne struck 0-6 to take his season’s haul to 25 points.

Interestingly, Kildare plundered 162 points during the league campaign, including five goals. While Offaly scored just 114 points, their haul of 15 goals was a National League high and accounted for 40% of their total points. Forwards Dylan Hyland (2-26) and Keith O Neill (2-20) were particularly prolific, scoring 58 points between them. Hyland and Rory Egan scored the crucial goals as Offaly defeated Kildare by six points at Glenisk O'Connor Park on March 16th.

However, this was their first competitive victory over their neighbours since 2006, while it should be noted that Kildare finished their league campaign with the most points scored and the best defence. This enabled Kildare to finish with a points difference of +59 and ultimately top Division Three. So, although Offaly boast an obvious goal threat, Kildare appear to be a slightly more rounded team, and we are tipping them to win by between one and three points this weekend.

🏆 OUR VERDICT: KILDARE TO WIN - BETWEEN 1 AND 3 POINTS🏆

Wexford vs Limerick Predictions - TG4, 5.00pm Saturday 29 March, Croke Park

Wexford were the only team in the Allianz National League to win all seven of their matches this season, as they topped Division 4 by four points from Limerick. The Shannonsiders ultimately secured 10 points to secure a third-tier promotion and book a place in the divisional final. The Yellowbellies have performed consistently throughout, showcasing their impressive efficiency and dominance of primary possession. These strengths were certainly on display

when they defeated Limerick by four points on February 2nd, while the lethal pairing of Sean Nolan (0-8) and Padraig Hughes (0-3) was pivotal during this win.

This pair combined scored a total of 30 points during the 2025 league campaign, with Nolan emerging as one of the most prolific free takers in the league. As for Limerick, they remain heavily reliant on star forward James Naughton. He was the second-top scorer in Division 4 this season with 39 points (1-36), as Limerick ultimately outscored Wexford both in terms of goals (10 vs 9) and total points (157 vs 148). However, they bolstered their tally by scoring four goals and 36 points in the thrashing of basement club Waterford on the final day, while Naughton accounted for a quarter of their total season haul.

Overall, Wexford are the stronger and more consistent team. They’ve also won their previous five league games against Limerick, with the Shannonsiders last defeating their rivals back in 2014. So, we are backing Wexford to win again here, with a 3-point handicap at a price of 2.00 with BoyleSports.
