Wexford host Offaly at Chadwicks Wexford Park on Saturday evening knowing that only a win will keep them in a position to keep their ambitions of staying in the All-Ireland race intact. Wexford overcame Antrim in last month's Leinster Hurling Championship opener but Keith Rossiter's side have since slipped to successive defeats, most recently losing out by 10 points to Galway at Pearse Stadium.

They now welcome the Faithful County, with Offaly having lost all three Leinster round robin games to this point. Avoiding relegation to the Joe McDonagh Cup is the priority now for Offaly, while the home side need to win here and hope other results go their way across the last two rounds of games. Ahead of another busy weekend of hurling action, read on for our prediction preview and all the latest info ahead of this crucial Leinster showdown.

🏆 Wexford v Offaly Prediction

Wexford should be too strong for Offaly. The Faithful County have lost their three Championship outings by a combined 32-point margin, failing to build on the bright start they made against Dublin in Parnell Park last month. They were only denied by three points in that contest but hefty defeats have followed against Galway and Kilkenny. There's no doubting this represents a more realistic challenge for Johnny Kelly and his side, but they are on the road again and Wexford look the better side.

They kept Galway honest last time, trailing by just two points with 12 minutes remaining, before the Tribesmen pulled clear in the closing stages. Lee Chin continues to impress for Wexford and his quality should be a major contributing factor to their success here. Find yourself pondering what channel is Wexford v Offaly on? The only place to see the game is by showing up at Chadwicks Wexford Park, as there is no live television or streaming offered on this contest.

There are, however, lots of options for punters with some of the best betting sites to pick a winner or follow some of our selections below based on the H2H stats.

OUR PREDICTION: 🏆 WEXFORD TO WIN 🏆

💯 Wexford v Offaly Betting Odds

The latest Odds show that home advantage is expected to count for plenty. Wexford have been competitive in the Championship so far in the main and were too strong for Antrim at home last month, despite collecting a red card in the first half. They pulled away to win that game by 11 points.

Offaly have lost all three Leinster Championship games so far and confidence is likely to be low following to wide-margin losses against Galway and Kilkenny. On the plus side for the Faithful supporters, they have at least managed to get the provincial big hitters out of the way.

They now have games against Wexford and Antrim to look forward to as they bid to finish the Leinster run on a high. Our three standout Wexford v Offaly betting tips are below for Saturday's clash, while you can pick the best place to make your hurling bets this season by reading our extensive bookmaker reviews to see what is on offer in the Irish betting scene.

✔️ Wexford v Offaly Betting Tips

  • Tip 1: Wexford to win: It doesn't look as though either side will be contesting the All-Ireland series on form, but Wexford have more going for them and should win this contest comfortably. Wexford look better placed after three games to get their second Leinster win. The Model County eventually took care of business in solid style when they faced Antrim at Chadwicks Wexford Park in round one and they pushed Galway for a long part of the game in Pearse Stadium last weekend. Their qualification hopes are thin, but Wexford will want to end the Leinster journey in decent nick. Why not check out these free bets offers ahead of this weekend's GAA action.
  • Tip 2: Wexford to score over 1.5 goals: Goalscoring has come easy for Wexford in their Leinster journey so far, with eight green flags raised in three games. They should get at this Offaly rearguard and continue their run of scoring at least two goals per game. Goals have been flowing for Wexford, with eight scored in three games. Keith Rossiter's side have plenty creativity within their ranks, none more so than Lee Chin, who continues to impress this season. If they can raise two or more green flags, it will be a big push in the direction of a win and they are fancied to do that for the fourth Leinster SHC game on the trot.
  • Tip 2: Lee Chin to score over 8.5 points: Chin remains the go-to man for Wexford. The skipper was on hand with 12 points against a good Galway side in Pearse Stadium and 8.5 points should be within his reach now. Skipper Lee Chin scored 12 points in Wexford's defeat in Galway in round three. Eight of those arrived before the half-time refreshments His influence on the Slaneysiders is unmatched. Over 8.5 points back on his own patch looks a solid benchmark.

⚽ Wexford Squad Form

Wexford leaned heavily on chief marksman Lee Chin, scorer of a dozen points in their loss in Galway. The captain was backed up by Jack O'Connor, Conor Hearne and Kevin Foley and that quartet will be key performers again. Wexford, who have one win on the board from three outings, will be aiming to double their tally now and Keith Rossiter's side should have enough in reserve to see Offaly out the gate.

⚽ Offaly Squad Form

Good goal chances for Brian Duignan and Daniel Bourke went astray in the early exchanges of Offaly's loss against Kilkenny and the Cats weren't in much of a forgiving mood as veteran TJ Reid scored 2-09 to condemn the Faithful County to a third Leinster loss. Boss Johnny Kenny will always have had in his mind that the final two games of the round robin were imminently the most winnable, but even so, Offaly are in a poor place. They conceded 4-25 in Nowlan Park and confidence is surely going to have taken a knock.

✒️ Wexford v Offaly - H2H Stats

Leinster rivals Wexford and Offaly have met regularly in Championship hurling down the years. Back in the early 80s, Offaly hurling was on a high and after delivering their first All-Ireland in 1981, but they had just a single point to spare over Wexford on a sweltering hot day at Croke Park as they started their defence.
