All-Ireland champions Armagh begin their journey in this season's Championship with a trip to face Antrim in their Ulster SFC quarter-final. The Orchard County won the Sam Maguire last summer in Croke Park but will be aiming for a first provincial title since 2008 now, having lost the last two Ulster deciders on penalties. Antrim, rank outsiders, have won the battle to host this game at their Corrigan Park home but face a major challenge to repeat that success on the field of play as our Antrim vs Armagh prediction will indicate.

🏆 Antrim vs Armagh Prediction

The build-up to this Ulster SFC tussle was dominated by talk of where it would be played. The Ulster Council initially proposed the game would be played at Pairc Esler in Newry but Antrim railed against that decision, strong in their stance that they would have the home advantage the draw had promised. There had been doubts over the fixture even taking place after Antrim players said they wouldn't play the game unless it was at the Belfast venue.

They've won the off-field duel with the powers that make such decisions, but Antrim are unlikely to prevail on the field. The Saffrons have just been relegated from Division 3 in the Allianz League, while Armagh did enough to preserve their status in Division 1. Kieran McGeeney's side should be much too strong for their hosts. It's the second big game in the Ulster Championship and the leading bookmakers will have free bets offers for the Belfast battle.

OUR PREDICTION: 🏆 ARMAGH TO WIN 🏆

💯 Antrim vs Armagh Betting Odds

No matter where you look for the latest Antrim vs Armagh odds, it will be the reigning All-Ireland champions that are heavy favourites to win with all the best betting sites. Armagh won the All-Ireland in good style last year and, bar penalties, haven't lost an Ulster SFC contest in the last two seasons. It would be a seismic shock if the Orchard side were anything bar convincing winners in Belfast. As always, shopping for the best odds is vital in GAA betting and our sports brand reviews will help you decide the best options.

✔️ Antrim vs Armagh Betting Tips

Antrim haven’t won a game in the Ulster SFC since 2014 and it looks unlikely their wait will end now. The Saffrons admirably nailed their colours to the mast by taking the 'Corrigan or nowhere' stance to where this game would be played and won that battle. They will have that home pitch advantage but, after getting relegated to Division 4 in the National League, there is very little evidence to suggest they will upstage the All-Ireland champions.

With the limited capacity in north Belfast of just 4,000, Orchard county fans will be asking in their droves: What channel is Antrim vs Armagh on? Luckily, BBC2 Northern Ireland has full live coverage of this Ulster Football Championship quarter-final tie. Armagh are fully expected to overcome a double-digits handicap on the day and our best Antrim vs Armagh betting tips are below.

  • Tip 1: Armagh -11 points handicap:

Armagh tallied a magnificent 4-24 in their final National League outing against Derry, winning by 15 points, and they can overcome this Antrim side by a similar margin.

  • Tip 2: Stefan Campbell to score a goal anytime:

Stefan Campbell was given a start against Derry last time out and the skilled playmaker nearly found the net, only to see his effort come back off a post. 'Soupy' should see plenty of the ball here and might raise a green flag.

  • Tip 2: Ross McQuillan over 4.5 points:

Armagh forward Ross McQuillan signed off his league season by scoring 1-02 in the win over Derry as the Orchard county hit a stunning 4-22 from play. He can at least match that tally now.

📈 Antrim Squad Form

Antrim return to action three weeks after relegation in the Allianz League was confirmed following an 11-point loss against Kildare in St Conleths Park in Newbridge. Andy McEntee's side were under the cosh after conceding the first six points, but they dug in and made life hard to the Lilywhites when Fionn Nagle's goal cut the deficit to three late in the second half. Antrim corner back Eoghan McCabe was shown a red card in the 70th minute as Kildare pulled away with the last seven scores of the contest.

⚽Armagh Squad Form

Kieran McGeeney will hope to have All-Star nominated Blaine Hughes back in goals, though Ethan Rafferty remains a solid alternative as he showed against Derry last time. Oisin Conaty was Young Player of the Year in 2024 and may be a starter, while new faces include Belleek young star Callum O’Neill and Connaire O’Neill. Skipper Aidan Forker should be back in a starting jersey along with Jarly Og Burns.
