Another chapter in the rivalry between great Ulster rivals Armagh and Tyrone will be written on April 26th when the two counties meet in the first of this year’s Ulster Football Championship Semi-Finals at St Tiernach’s Park, Clones. Throw-in for the big game is at 16:45 GMT, and for those wondering "what channel is Armagh v Tyrone on?", GAA+ will be broadcasting the match live on their service for those who can’t make it to Clones. Defending All-Ireland champions Armagh got through a difficult first half against Antrim to make it to the last 4, while Malachy O’ Rourke’s Tyrone came through against Cavan to make the Semi-Final.

🏆 Armagh v Tyrone Prediction - Semi-Final

Any time these two great Ulster giants meet, fans are guaranteed fireworks, and hopefully April 26th will be no different. Both sides will fancy their chances of making it through to another Ulster decider, with Tyrone looking for their first Ulster title since 2021. Kieran McGeeney’s Armagh may be defending All-Ireland champions from 2024, but they have not lifted the Anglo-Celt Cup since 2008, so will be looking to put that right in 2025. In fact, Armagh have had the misfortune of losing the last two Ulster Finals to Derry in 2023 and Donegal in 2024 on penalties. Tyrone are narrow favourites to make it through, but a case can be made for both sides.

Tyrone were very impressive for a lot of their win against Cavan, while Armagh really shone in the second half after a hard fought first half against Antrim. Tyrone have looked to be building something over the last few weeks of the League, and their opening Championship display against Cavan and are given the nod to come through the All-Ireland champions, in what could be one of the games of the summer in Clones on April 26th.

OUR PREDICTION: 🏆 TYRONE TO WIN 🏆

✔️ Armagh v Tyrone Betting Tips

In this section, we will walk you through a selection of Armagh v Tyrone betting tips. These tips might be useful to those with free bet offers, or those of you just looking to have a bet on the highly anticipated Armagh v Tyrone battle.

  • Tip 1: Tyrone to win: Even though this game could be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer, we think Tyrone should just about come out on top in the end. It really is a match to look forward to on April 26th , as both these counties will fancy their chances of not only winning Ulster but also winning the All-Ireland later in the summer. At this stage however, Tyrone may just be on the verge of taking a big scalp in Malachy O Rourke’s first season in charge and ending Armagh’s hopes of winning Ulster for the first time since 2008. If you agree you can get a price of 1.91 on Tyrone making it through to the Ulster Final.
  • Tip 2: Darragh Canavan to score a goal anytime: The Errigal Ciaran star missed the Ulster Quarterfinal win against Cavan so fans will be hoping he will be back on board for this blockbuster clash with Armagh. If he is, expect him to be to the fore for Tyrone, as he invariably is these days. Working in tandem with the likes of Darren McCurry, Peter Harte and his brother Ruairi, Tyrone possess a potentially lethal mix in their forward line.
  • Tip 3: HalfTime/Full Time: Draw/Tyrone: This game could really go either way on April 26th with both sides more than capable of taking the spoils in Clones. For that reason, expect it to be tight and hard fought throughout. Given how close the game is expected to be perhaps the best tip might be to look at the halftime/fulltime markets. With that in mind, we are looking at the draw/Tyrone market for this clash. It should be tight between the teams, but we think Tyrone will get over the line in the end. If you fancy a punt on the halftime/fulltime market, you can get a price of 19.00 with directionbet-sport on the match being a draw at half time, with Tyrone winning at the end.

📈 Armagh Squad Form

Armagh came through a tougher than expected Ulster Quarterfinal against Antrim the last day out, on a scoreline of 1-34 – 1-23. Antrim led at half time 0-14 -0-13, but the defending All-Ireland champions, led by Oisin O’ Neill who hit three two point frees, and Rory Grugan who hit 0-8, scored 1-21 in the second half to win by 11 in the end.

⚽ Tyrone Squad Form

Tyrone produced a brilliant first half against Cavan in their Ulster Quarterfinal to lay the foundations for their win on April 13th. They had to survive a second half fightback from Cavan but were able to produce when they needed to in the second half to run out winners in the end, 1-24 – 0-20. Tyrone were also dealt a pre-match blow with the news of an injury to Darragh Canavan, something they will hope is mended by the time they face Armagh on April 26th.
