Best La Liga Betting Sites
Before we take a closer look at La Liga’s key betting markets for the 2024/25 campaign, it’s important to understand where to place your wagers. Here’s our pick of the best La Liga bookmakers featured on the Betinireland homepage.
DirectionBet
Our pick as the best overall La Liga betting site is DirectionBet. This site certainly offers a large selection of pre-match betting markets, while live bettors can access multiple in-play lines and early cashout offers too.
As a new customer here, you can also opt in and receive a 100% deposit match up to the value of €100. During the course of conducting our DirectionBet review, we also uncovered a free €50 La Liga bet at odds of 1.80 or greater.
Betalright
If you’re someone who wants to wager in-play, you should note that Betalright arguably offers the best live betting experience. For example, our comprehensive Betalright review revealed a large number of live props and micro bets, each of which was competitively priced.
When you first register for a Betalright account, you can also qualify for a 100% risk free bet up to the value of €50. The minimum odds requirement here is 1.50, so you can unlock a broader range of La Liga markets with this bonus.
Sportaza
Sportaza is also an excellent pick for live betting fans, as it offers an extensive live streaming function. This broadcasts matches from La Liga and similar, big-five leagues. Sportaza also excels from the perspective of bonuses and promotions, including so-called “acca insurance”.
The welcome bonus comprises a 100% first deposit match up to €100. A 100% accumulator price boost is also covered comprehensively in our Sportaza review, while the site’s enhanced odds promotion can be applied to 1x2 bets placed prior to the start of a game.
20Bet
Next up is 20Bet, which also live streams matches and offers a particularly large range of La Liga betting markets. Once again, you can access a 100% deposit match up to the value of €100 here, alongside a forecast bonus in instances where you’ve wagered at least €20 during the previous week.
The site also runs a ‘Saturday Reload’ bonus, which will reward you with up to €100 free bets each week. These can be deployed across selected La Liga betting markets, while you can learn more about this by reading our comprehensive 20Bet review.
LegendPlay
Last, but not least, we come to LegendPlay Sport. This is home to the best welcome offer in the market, as you can unlock a 100% deposit match up to €250. This creates a significant amount of free play when wagering on La Liga matches.
LegendPlay also offers guaranteed odds across multiple events and markets, including La Liga matches. So, you can rest assured you’re accessing the best odds at all times. During the course of our LegendPlay review, we found that the operator had a completely responsive mobile site that was optimised for smartphone and tablet use.
La Liga Football Betting Tips
Now that you know where to wager, you can begin to formulate a viable La Liga betting strategy for 2024. Here are some key insights and tips to keep in mind!
Bet on Real Madrid to win La Liga
Real Madrid are the early season favourites to retain their La Liga crown, at odds of around 1.38 with LegendPlay Sports.
Los Blancos won the league by 10 points last season and claimed a 15th UEFA Champions League crown, while they’ve already added to their title haul in 2024/25 by winning the European Super Cup. They’ve now won 102 major trophies in total during their illustrious history.
During the course of their 2-0 win over Atalanta in Warsaw, Madrid were highly impressive, while the match also saw the long-awaited debut of Kylian Mbappe. The prolific Frenchman, who scored 256 goals in 308 matches for PSG, also opened his account against Atalanta and formed part of a formidable looking attack.
Jude Bellingham also performed with distinction against the Serie A side, registering an assist, creating three chances and completing five dribbles. So, although he was required to play a little deeper to accommodate for Mbappe in attack, he starred with an all-action display.
The level of individual talent now boasted by Los Blancos is incredible, and they have the perfect coach to maximise this in the form of Carlo Ancelotti. The calm and composed Italian’s will continue to deploy his adaptable 4-3-3 shape this season, while it should be noted that he has a 70.52% win-rate since returning to Madrid in 2021.
Given the strength of their squad and their incredibly consistent performances last season (along with the arrival of Mbappe and young Brazilian prodigy Endrick), Real are justified favourites to retain the crown and win their 37th La Liga title in 2024/25.
FC Barcelona to be Champions
Despite this, it can be argued that Real’s outright price of 1.38 is a little short. After all, they’ll face renewed competition from Barcelona and city rivals Atletico, both of whom have reshaped their already talented squads during the pre-season.
Barca’s biggest move was for former Bayern and Germany head coach Hansi Flick, who famously lifted the treble with Munich in 2019/20 and won an incredible 81.40% of his matches in Bavaria.
His attack-oriented, high pressing philosophy is perfectly suited to the Catalan’s existing playing squad too, which is why he has made minimal moves in the transfer market so far.
However, Dani Olmo has arrived from RB Leipzig in a €55 million deal, following his starring role in Spain’s victory at Euro 2024. He’ll provide another line of creative supply for last season’s top scorer Robert Lewandowski, so backing Barcelona to win may offer enhanced value at a current price of 4.50 with Sportaza Sports.
Bet on Kylian Mbappe to Top the Scorer’s Chart
The La Liga Pichichi trophy is one of the league’s most coveted individual awards, and there are a number of potential winners in 2024/25.
Last season’s top scorer Artem Dovbyk left Girona during the summer, of course, but the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and Argentinian striker Julian Alvaraz (who joined Atletico from Manchester City for €75 million) has boosted La Liga’s firepower overall.
The aforementioned Lewandowski also scored 19 goals last season and placed third in the race for the Pichichi trophy, so he’ll be a key contender once again following the arrival of Flick and Olmo at the Nou Camp.
Ultimately, this is a tough betting market to call, although you can also access enhanced odds when picking La Liga’s top scorer. Because of this, we’d recommend placing an each-way bet on Kylian Mbappe winning the Pichichi trophy in his debut season, after netting 175 goals in just 205 Ligue 1 games for PSG at a rate of 0.85 goals per game.
Sure, Mbappe will have to make the transition to a more competitive league, but he has also starred in major international tournaments and is approaching his peak as a player.
