1️⃣ Galatasaray Update

As I’ve already touched on, Galatasaray are unbeaten in 22 matches in all competitions, while the defending Süper Lig champions are currently placed second in the league and just two points behind Fenerbahçe. €10 million summer signing Mauro Icardi has also hit the ground running for Gala, hitting 12 goals in 14 matches (including a delightful, dinked winner of Andre Onana at Old Trafford). However, the side has been slightly less effective in the defensive third of the pitch in recent times, keeping just a single clean sheet in their last six matches since September 2nd.

Galatasaray will virtually be at full strength when they host Bayern in the UCL, although Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech is expected to miss out with a foot injury. Striker Halil Dervişoğlu and defensive midfielder Eyüp Aydın will also be absent due to ineligibility.
