And so, it comes down to just two. Paris Saint-Germain will take on Inter Milan in Munich on May 31st to decide the winners of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League. A revamped Champions League this season saw a mammoth 36 teams begin the new League Phase back in September, and now we have just two teams left battling it out for the most prestigious trophy in club football.

The two sides have deservedly made it through, with PSG contesting their second Final after defeat in the 2019/20 decider and Inter competing in their seventh, with a record of three wins and three defeats in their six previous finals. In this betting guide to the big match, we will take you through the latest PSG v Inter odds, as well as give you our own prediction for the match.

🔮 2024/25 UEFA Champions League Outright Winner Prediction

Paris Saint-Germain had a shaky start to the new League Phase of the 2024/25 Champions League, losing 3 of their 8 League matches and just scraping into a Top 16 qualification spot in 15th position. They were then drawn with fellow French side Brest in the Knockout Phase Play-Off. They easily came through that 10-0 on aggregate over two games, and since then have not looked back. They faced Liverpool in their Round of 16 match and managed to knock out the Premier League side on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate score after the two legs.

A 5-4 win after two legs against another Premier League side in Aston Villa meant PSG took on their third successive Premier League side in Arsenal at the semi-final stage. The Ligue 1 champions impressed for large periods over the two legs to make it into their second UEFA Champions League Final with a 3-1 aggregate win. Inter, for their part, had a much smoother League Phase finishing fourth in the table and earning a direct place in the Round of 16. In that they faced Dutch side Feyenoord. An easy 4-1 victory meant they then faced Bayern Munich in a mammoth Quarterfinal tie. A 2-1 win in Munich was followed by a 2-2 draw in Milan, meaning Simone Inzaghi’s team advanced to the semi-final 4-3 on aggregate.

In that semi, they faced FC Barcelona, and the tie turned into one of the best Semi-Final matches the competition has ever seen. Inter drew the first leg 3-3 in Barcelona before emerging with a 4-3 win at home to go through to their seventh final, on a 7-6 aggregate scoreline. Both sides have faced adversity and come through it on their exciting runs to the Final. PSG struggled early on, but since the New Year have been arguably the most impressive side in the tournament and have justifiably made it to Munich. Inter have taken out Bayern and Barcelona on their route to the decider and did tremendously well to come through that all-time classic semi-final tie against Barcelona.

Both sides are deserved finalists this year, with both having achieved some brilliant results to make it all the way to Munich. PSG have really stood up this season, and they look like they have finally managed to mould a team that not only plays football capable of winning Europe’s premier competition but also has the work rate and team ethic to match. Unfortunately, maybe for them, they are coming up against an Inter team that has all that in abundance also. Simone Inzaghi’s men have proven yet again this season that they are not to be underestimated and will be hungry to rectify the result that saw them lose their last UEFA Champions League Final back in 2023 against Manchester City.

They have brilliant players in the likes of Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez, and the experience that they have collected in recent years could just be the key to get them over the line on May 31st. It should be close game that won’t be easily won by either side, but we predict that Inter can nullify enough of the PSG threats to claim the win and their first Champions League title since 2010.

💯 UEFA Champions League Outright Winner Odds

Both sides have come through some tough competition to make it through to European Football’s biggest game, and it really could go either way. PSG are the favourites with Ireland’s best betting sites but Inter are more than capable of upsetting the French champions and taking home their fourth European Cup.

PSG @ 2.20 – Odds to Win

PSG are the favourites heading into the big game in Munich, and after the 2025 they have had so far, it is easy to see why. Since the turn of the year, they have shown themselves to be one of the best sides in Europe. They possess a combination of brilliant attacking flair with the likes of Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele along with defensive brilliance from the likes of skipper Marquinhos and dominating goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. If they play as they did in the wins over Liverpool and at times against Arsenal, they could prove hard to beat.

Inter Milan @ 3.70 – Odds to Win

Inter return to the Champions League decider for the first time since the 2022/23 clash against Man City in Istanbul. Simone Inzaghi’s side serenely made their way through to the knockout stages, and since reaching them, have knocked out Feyenoord, Bayern Munich and Barcelona in an all-time classic semi-final meeting. They are outsiders heading to Munich but have the belief, form and mentality needed to cause what on paper would be a slight surprise and beat PSG to the trophy.

⏪ Review of 2023/24 UEFA Champions League

The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League was the final year to feature the Group Stage format and the final year of the tournament consisting of 32 teams. Real Madrid were crowned 2023/24 champions, their 15th title, after beating Bundesliga side and 1997 champions Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Final at Wembley. Real Madrid, led by Carlo Ancelotti, made it past the Group Stages with a minimum of fuss, winning all six group games, while Borussia Dortmund topped their group, a group that also included Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Newcastle United. In the last 16, Madrid faced RB Leipzig and came through 2-1 on aggregate over the two legs.

Dortmund played PSV Eindhoven and won 3-1. In the quarterfinals, Real came up against Premier League titans Manchester City, and the two sides engaged in one of the great quarterfinal ties. A 3-3 draw at the Bernabeu in Madrid was followed by a 1-1 draw in Manchester, bringing the tie to extra time and penalties. Madrid won out 4-3 in the shoot-out to earn their last four place against another Champions League giant, Bayern Munich. Dortmund had a similarly tense and tight quarter final. Edin Terzic’s team faced Atletico Madrid and eventually won out 5-4 over the two legs to book their semi-final spot against Paris Saint-Germain.

In the last four, Dortmund successfully managed to get past their French opponents 2-0 on aggregate to make the Wembley decider, while for Madrid it was another close-fought tie against Bayern Munich. An 83rd minute penalty in the first leg from Vinicius Jr earned them a 2-2 draw in Munich, before two late goals from Joselu in the 88th and 91st minute of the second leg saw Madrid through to their 18th European Cup Final.

In the Final, Madrid survived many missed chances from Dortmund, as the Bundesliga side unsettled Madrid with their aggressive approach. Niclas Fullkrug and Karim Adeyemi both missed great chances before a late flurry from the competition’s most successful club saw Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr earn the La Liga giants a 2-0 win and their 15th title.
