Champions League Group D is incredibly evenly poised, with just two points separating the top three. This number includes Feyenoord and Lazio, who are placed first and third respectively and did battle at De Kuip on October 25th. Here, the Dutch champions earned a superb 3-1 win, as they overwhelmed their struggling opponents who have lost six of their 14 competitive games through 2023/24 so far. But can Lazio gain revenge over at the Stadio Olimpico, and what do the latest football betting odds tell us about which side will win? I’ll explore this in my match prediction below!
🏆 Lazio v Feyenoord UCL Prediction
Feyenoord have now won three of their five competitive matches against Lazio, with the Rome side’s sole victory coming in last season’s Europe League group stage. However, this 4-2 win did come at the Stadio Olimpico in September 2022, so it may have created a template for how Lazio could beat their opponents.
The stats certainly don’t offer much encouragement to Lazio, who have produced just 22.00 shot-creating actions per 90 in this season’s UCL (compared to 28.33 for Feyenoord) and have a much lower xG value (4.2 vs 6.1). The Dutch side were also able to significantly boost their numbers against the Serie A side last time out, as they enjoyed 15 shots on goal (compared to eight for Lazio) despite having 45% possession and completing 97 less passes during the 90 minutes.
However, the Dutch side have lost two of seven away games this season, including a surprise 2-1 defeat at FC Twente on October 29th. Feyenoord were also defeated 3-2 by Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium on October 4th. Conversely, Lazio are unbeaten in five home games in all competitions since a 1-0 defeat to Genoa on August 27th, so I’m tipping them to gain an all-important win here and potentially go top of Group E.
My Prediction: 🏆 Lazio 2 – 1 Feyenoord ⚽
💯 Lazio v Feyenoord UCL Match Odds
The clash between Feyenoord and Lazio is home to a large range of betting markets, including the match winner or result, BTTS and the over/under on total goals to be scored in the game. So, let’s take a closer look at these markets and how they’re currently being priced!
🏅 Lazio v Feyenoord: Match Winner
The bookies are split on which side will win in Rome, with Lazio arguably the narrow favourites despite their 3-1 loss in the Netherlands in gameweek three. This has much to do with Lazio’s robust home form, while the Serie A side also beat Feyenoord 4-2 at home during last season’s UEL group stage.

⚽ Lazio v Feyenoord: Both Teams To Score
Whichever one of Betinireland’s best betting sites that you choose to wager with, you can also back both teams to score (or not). Despite only scoring 17 goals in 14 matches this season, Lazio have only failed to score in three of 14 games, while Feyenoord have scored in 13 consecutive games since August 13th (netting 42 goals during this sequence).

🥅 Lazio v Feyenoord: Over/Under 2.5 Goals
Despite Lazio’s relative lack of goals for, their 14 games have featured 35 goals in total at a rate of 2.50 per game. Between them, Lazio and Feyenoord have contested 29 matches that have featured 91 goals, at an even more impressive rate of 3.13 per game. So, the odds imply a strong probability that over 2.5 goals will be scored in this game.

✔️ Lazio v Feyenoord - Betting Tips
These markets represent the tip of the iceberg when it comes to betting on Lazio v Feyenoord, while you can also create parlays or combination wagers to create further value. Here are some informed betting tips to help you get the most from these markets! You can also read our bookmaker reviews to help you pick the best platform for you!
- Tip 1: Back Lazio to Win: The bookies are split on the outcome of this match, with the odds implying that Lazio have a 40.00% probability of winning this game (compared to 38.46% for Feyenoord). Because of this, you can get generous odds on Lazio winning outright, with LegendPlay offering a competitive price of 2.55 on the home side prevailing. Remember, they’re tough to beat at home too, while Feyenoord are prone to occasional defensive vulnerability on the road.
- Tip 2: Back Lazio to Win With More Than 2.5 Goals Scored): In terms of combination betting, I think there’s genuine value in backing Lazio to win and over 2.5 goals being scored at an enhanced price of 3.75 with Dachbet Sports. This reflects the average goals-per-game ratio in games featuring these sides this season, while it should be remembered that Lazio are also in need of a win in the Italian capital.
- Tip 3: Back Pedro as an Anytime Goalscorer: If you want to pursue higher returns or make use of a free bet offer, the anytime goalscorer market also offers considerable value. For example, you can back 36-year-old veteran Pedro to score against Feyenoord at the generous price of 5.25 with TonyBet Sports, with the Spaniard having already scored twice in this season’s UCL from an expect goals value of just 0.9.
1️⃣ Lazio Update
Lazio finished second in Serie A last season, but they’re currently languishing in 10th place having won five and lost five of their 11 matches so far in the Italian top-flight. However, the team has won three of their last four domestically, improving their overall record this season to six victories, two draws and six defeats from 14 matches in 2023/24. Their 3-1 defeat at Feyenoord in gameweek three also showcased an underlying lack of creativity and failure to turn possession (they’ve averaged 49.7% in the UCL this season) into goals.

Lazio can call on a virtually fully fit squad ahead of the visit of the Dutch champions, although centre back Nicolò Casale is out until December with an adductor injury. Full back Adam Marusic is also expected to miss out with an ankle injury.

2️⃣ Feyernoord Update
Since going winless in their first three competitive games of the season (including a 1-0 defeat to PSV at De Kuip in the Johan Cruyff Shield), Feyenoord have won 10 matches out of 12 in all competitions. They’ve also scored 40 goals during these games at a rate of 3.33 per game, while conceding just 11. However, both of these defeats came on the road (at Atletico Madrid and FC Twente respectively), while the side’s tally of 11 tackles in the attacking third (the second highest in the UCL) highlights Feyenoord’s high and potentially vulnerable defensive line).

Feyenoord will remain without the services of Yankuba Minteh against Lazio, as the right winger continues his recovery from a hamstring injury. However, centre back Gernot Trauner may be available for selection in midweek, after missing seven matches both at home and abroad with knee problems.
