One Player Every Premier League Club Needs to Sign This Summer ⚽️

The 2024/2025 Premier League season is almost at a conclusion, with Liverpool destined to lift the crown for a second time in five years. Leicester City and Southampton have already been relegated back down to the Championship, with Ipswich close to joining them. Leeds United and Burnley have been promoted to the Premier League for next season, while we await the Championship play-offs to see who will join them. Let’s take a look at the teams who will currently play in the Premier League next season and which player each should sign to help them next season.

Liverpool
➡️ Liverpool will be crowned Premier League champions if they beat Spurs at Anfield on Sunday. It is surprising that a team that is going to comfortably win the league does have areas where they need to improve. One of these areas is left back. Andy Robertson has not been his best this season and backup Kostas Tsimikas has been in and out of the team. Liverpool should sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez in the summer window.
Arsenal
🔑 It is obvious from watching Arsenal that what they like is a number 9 to score their goals. They have drawn 12 games this season and it could be argued a striker could’ve turned some of these into a win. They tried to sign Ollie Watkins in January, but they need an even more game-changing striker signing, which Newcastle striker Aleksandr Isak would be. He wouldn’t be cheap though!
Man City
🧠 Man City need a replacement for the soon-to-be departed Kevin De Bruyne. We recommend Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz.
Newcastle
🧤 Newcastle have been excellent this season, but the goalkeeping position lacks cohesion with Pope and Dubravka being Newcastle’s number one this season. Irishman Caoimhin Kelleher would bring stability to Newcastle.
Spurs
💪 Spurs have had many injuries this season, especially in the centre-back department. There is also rumours Cristian Romero will leave so we recommend they bring in Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.
Man United
⚽️ Man United are currently struggling in many departments of their team and I could pick a defender, wing-back, goalkeeper, or even midfielder for this but we are going with a striker, due to the struggling form of Hojlund and Zirkzee. Under Alex Ferguson, United often bought brilliant English strikers, and they should do this again in the form of Ollie Watkins.
Nottingham Forest
💥 Forest could have European football next season, which means they might need another attacking option to take the weight off Chris Wood. We recommend Lille striker Jonathan David.
Aston Villa
🏅 Aston Villa were busy in the January transfer window and brought in some loan signings. One of these players is Marco Asensio and we recommend they make this a permanent signing.
Chelsea
🔒 Chelsea have made a lot of signings over the last few seasons, but still look unsure in the goalkeeper department. We suggest they sign Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund.
Brighton
🎯 Brighton often look for youthful signings in the market, but we suggest an experienced midfielder, with Corentin Tolisso being linked with the Seagulls.
Bournemouth
🧤 Bournemouth might need a goalkeeper in the summer with Kepa’s loan set to expire. We suggest they make this loan permanent.
Crystal Palace
🛡️ Crystal Palace may need a centre back, especially if Guehi leaves. We suggest Southampton’s Taylor Hardwood-Bellis.
Brentford
⚡️ Brentford are reportedly looking for an attacking midfield option in the summer. We suggest Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn.
Everton
🦶 Everton might look to strengthen in the right-back area in the summer with Southampton’s Kyle Walker Peters a good option.
West Ham
🚀 West Ham will look to strengthen in attack with Tyler Dibling a good option for them.
Fulham
🔁 Fulham need a strong midfield presence to replace Joao Palhinha who left in 2024. They are being linked with a return for Palhinha and we believe they should sign him.
Wolves
🐺 One player Wolves are looking at is Yuri Alberto. The Brazilian forward has been a target for Wolves, with the club reportedly interested in acquiring him to provide competition and depth in the striker position.
Leeds United
⚽️ Leeds will make their return to the Premier League for the first time since 2023. Teams need a good striker if they are to stay up in the Premier League. We suggest Tammy Abraham who is keen to return to England.
Burnley
🛡️ If you are to survive in the league you need a strong defence. Burnley could opt to resign Michael Keane who played for the club between 2017-20, with the Everton man’s contract up in the summer.
