After their impressive 1-1 draw at Manchester City last weekend, Liverpool return to Anfield for the visit of Fulham on December 3rd. They’re undoubtedly more comfortable in front of their own fans, having won all nine of their matches at home in 2023/24 and scored an impressive 27 goals. As for the Cottagers, they’ve only won twice on the road this season and once in the Premier League (at Everton on the opening day of the campaign), and are heavy underdogs to improve this record with the best betting sites. But how is a Liverpool win being priced, and which side do I think will prevail?
🏆 Liverpool vs Fulham EPL Prediction
Liverpool have won 42 of their 73 head-to-head clashes with Fulham, since their first meeting back in February 1912. This includes a run of seven wins in 10 matches since May 2012, with Fulham recording a single win during this time (a 1-0 victory at Anfield on March 7th 2021).
Liverpool have certainly been back to their best at Anfield this season, winning every game there by at least two clear goals thanks largely to a potent attack. The Reds have produced a Premier League high of 27.1 expected goals this season, and while they’ve slightly unperformed this by -1.1 goals, they remain arguably the most creative team in the division.
To this end, the Reds have produced 34 big chances so far this season and 30.77 shot-creating actions per 90, both of which are EPL highs for 2023/24. These stats highlight the challenge facing Fulham, who have only won 47.5% of their tackles this season and struggled to maintain an attacking threat of their own (their tally of 12 EPL goals is the fourth lowest in the league).
The good news for the Cottagers is that they’ve already earned a 2-2 away at Arsenal this season, while they were seconds away from holding Manchester United to a draw at home. However, Liverpool appear to be a different beast at Anfield, and it’s hard to envisage any outcome here other than a comfortable win for the home side!
My Prediction: 🏆 Liverpool 3 – 0 Fulham ⚽

⚽ Liverpool vs Fulham: Both Teams To Score
Both sides have scored in nine of Liverpool's 13 EPL matches this season (and 14 out of 19 overall). The Reds have also found the net in every game they’ve contested in 2023/24, while keeping five clean sheets in all competitions. Both teams have found the next in six of Fulham’s 13 Premier League games, with the Cottagers keeping three clean sheets and drawing five blanks in front of goal.

✔️ Liverpool vs Fulham - Betting Tips
It can be hard to identify value when betting on Liverpool vs Fulham and similar games, as backing the home side to win outright only unlocks nominal returns. So, I’ve prepared some expert betting tips to help you create value and access enhanced odds.
- Tip 1: Back Liverpool to Win and Both Teams Not to Score: While matched betting is commonly used to lay back wagers and create value, this is less impactful in contests with short price favourites. Instead you should consider combination betting, such as backing Liverpool to win and both teams not to score at a price of 2.25 with Dachbet Sports. After all, the Reds should have too much attacking quality for Fulham and haven’t conceded at home in the EPL since September 24th, while the Cottagers have scored just six goals in seven away matches this season.
- Tip 2: Back Mohamed Salah as an Anytime Goalscorer: Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah already has 10 goals in 13 EPL appearances this season, while he has scored in each of his last four matches against Fulham. He also has eight goals in the Reds’ six Premier League home matches in 2023/24, scoring in every single Anfield appearance so far in the campaign. So, there’s value in backing him as an anytime goalscorer at a price of 1.80 with TonyBet Sports.
- Tip 3: Back Liverpool in the Half-Time, Full-Time Market: If you have one or more free bets on your preferred sportsbook account, you may want to consider backing Liverpool to lead at half-time and full-time (at a price of 1.75 with LegendPlay Sports. Fulham are certainly slow starters in EPL games, scoring just three first-half goals in 2023/24 (Liverpool have hit 12). While they’ve struck 10 times in the second 45 minutes, the Reds have only conceded three times during the same period, so I expect Liverpool to dominate the scoreline throughout.
1️⃣ Liverpool Update
The Reds have won six of their previous 10 Premier League matches and taken 21 points from the 30 available to them during this sequence, while losing just once at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Even then, it took two red cards and a 95th minutes Joel Matip own goal to defeat Liverpool, while score draws at Brighton and Manchester City were more than respectable results. At home, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been imperious, winning all six of their EPL matches while scoring 17 times and conceding just twice. They haven’t even conceded a league goal at Anfield since Jarrod Bowen’s 42nd minute strike for West Ham towards the end of September, with Liverpool’s famed high press (they’ve completed 713 ball recoveries so far this season) helping them to sustain attacks at home.

The Reds remain without left back Andy Robertson as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury, while fellow full back Conor Bradley is still struggling with a back complaint too. Spanish midfielder Thiago remains unavailable with general fitness issues, while Stefan Bajcetic’s calf injury is expected to rule him out ahead of Fulham’s visit. Goalkeeper Alisson (hamstring) will also miss a couple of matches after getting injured against Manchester City, while Portuguese forward Diogo Jota has been ruled out for a period too.

2️⃣ Fulham Update
Fulham’s controversial home win against Wolves last week was their first in five Premier League games, since a 3-1 victory over Sheffield United on October 7th. However, both of these victories came at Craven Cottage, with Fulham winless on the road in the EPL since a fortunate 1-0 triumph over Everton on the opening day of the campaign. While the Cottagers have since added a further away win at Ipswich in the EFL Cup (Marco Silva’s side have reached the quarterfinals of the competition), they have only scored six EPL goals on their travels and two in their previous four outings since September 2nd.

First choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno will miss the trip to Anfield after undergoing nose surgery, while winger Adama Traore (hamstring injury) and Tyrese Francois (knock) are also unavailable. Centre back Issa Diop (foot) and 22-year-old forward Rodrigo Muniz (knee) are out until early December too, so the game against Liverpool has come too soon for these players.
