Lens’ manager Franck Haise must be given credit for turning around his team’s form, especially after a difficult summer that saw the side lose talismanic striker Loïs Openda and midfielder star Seko Fofana. Since a 1-0 reversal at home to Metz on September 16th, they’ve lost just two of 14 matches in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, while they’ve also remained unbeaten at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis (winning five and drawing two of their seven home games).
