Port endured a shock 1-0 defeat to Estoril last time out at the Estádio do Dragão, with Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove scoring a 75th minute winner. This was their second defeat of the season at home, following the 1-0 loss to Barcelona in Champions League gameweek two. Ultimately, Porto’s goal return in 2023/24 has been relatively poor, with the side scoring 22 goals in 15 matches at a rate of 1.46 per game, although they managed to bolster this significantly by beating Antwerp 4-1 in gameweek three. They’ll hope for more of the same this time around!

Porto are still missing the 36-year-old centre back Iván Marcano for the visit of Antwerp, as he continues his recovery from a cruciate ligament tear sustained on September 16th. While centre back Björn Engels (Achilles tendon injury) returned to first team contention recently, left back Sam Vines remains sidelined with a knock. Winger Jacob Ondrejka remains absent with a fracture too, while winger Anthony Valencia fractured his fibula on October 25th. Defensive midfielder Mandela Keita also remains a doubt with a knee injury and is not expected to be fit in time for the trip to Porto.
