Like the other two games, this final match will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, with a 09:00 GMT scheduled start. 🔍 Bangladesh v New Zealand Match Winner Prediction
Bangladesh were the slight favourites to win the second ODI, but they were disappointing in the batting department as they were bowled out for just 168 inside 42 overs. They owe their bowlers a performance in this third ODI as they had put in a strong showing to restrict the Kiwis to 254 from 49.2 overs. Despite the defeat, the bookmakers still have Bangladesh as the slight favourites to win, but I think that I would be tempted to put my money on New Zealand.
I feel that these two teams are pretty equal when it comes to batting, but the New Zealand bowling attack is slightly better than their opponent's. Thus, I can see the Black Cap's bowlers winning the game and the series for their country. The weather is set to be sunny, so we should get the conclusion that this series deserves.

Tamim Iqbal was one of few batsmen for Bangladesh to show up in the second ODI, scoring 44 runs from 58 balls - Mahmudullah was the only batsmen to score more than him, while Nasum was the only other batsmen to pass 20. Iqbal is one of the classiest batsmen that Bangladesh have ever produced, and if I were to bet on the top batsman for Bangladesh in this third ODI, I would consider putting my money on the highly experienced top order batsman.

Henry Nicholls has been in some decent form in this series, scoring 44 in the first ODI and 49 in the second one. In his ODI career for the Black Caps, he has played in a total of 68 ODIs, scoring a total of 1776 runs at an average of 34.15. He has been a very reliable batsman for his country over the last three to four years, even top scoring in the 2019 World Cup final for his side. With the form that he has been in recently, I would be happy to back him to be the top scorer for New Zealand in this third ODI.

Bangladesh's Top Wicket Taker: Mahedi Hasan to Win Top Wicket Taker
In the first two ODIs, I backed Mustafizur Rahman to be the top wicket taker for Bangladesh - he was the leading bowler in the first ODI with three wickets before the weather put pay to the match, while in the second he put in another very solid bowling display, picking up 2 wickets for 53 runs from his 10 overs. I can see why he is one of the favourites with the bookies to be the top wicket taker for Bangladesh in this third innings, but I would be tempted to put my money on Mahedi Hasan. He did not get any wickets in the first ODI, but the New Zealand batsmen struggled to score against him, while he collected 3 for 45 in the second ODI.

The Bangladesh batsmen, despite being used to playing in spinning conditions, could not deal with his quality, and he ended up having a field day.
